Saturday & Sunday - September 12^th& 13^th - Rodeway Inn Medina Conference Center

10 participants: Louis Cowie, John Acker, Neil Wenberg, Alex Moiseyev, Alan Millhone, Joe LoConti, Ted Williamson, Rich Beckwith, Jason Solan, and Steve Holliday. John Acker is doing a nice job keeping the ACF forum updated on this tourney.  Read   Several checker buddies have called or emailed. Ted Williamson said he & Carol was having a fun tourney, Alan via the below picture by blackberry.  Tourney detail will be posted later, but I got wind that Alex appears to be a run-away winner (9/12/09).

- Congratulations to Alex Moiseyev for winning in impressive fashion and for retaining the state title. A hearty welcome to Jason Solan who returned to active competition and took the "B" title.
- Tournament consisted of 7 rounds of 3-move restriction (156-opening deck).  All players played as one group (Swiss). The masters used clocks and recorded games.
